Mirage Split (ミラージュスプリット Mirāju Supuritto?) is Riku's Reality Shift in The World That Never Was. The player must swipe through the white pods on the touchscreen as they move across the screen in three swipes or less. When done successfully, a holograph of Sora appears, Sora and Riku each summon a colorful Keyblade, and they combine the two to form a giant blade, which they swing together in a series of enormous sword strokes which damage enemies in a certain radius.

The Reality Shift is also used by Riku to activate nodes blocking his path in the Castle That Never Was, along with the battles with Ansem in order to create flat ground and Young Xehanort to attack the core of his time-controlling powers..
