can you scan the ar cards on the computer?—Preceding unsigned comment added by 71.58.61.68 (talk • contribs)
- I'm not sure what exactly you want to know. I didn't scan the AR cards, I took them from magazine scans and the first three where scanned by Cyberman directly. If you have a 3DS (and KH3D) you should be able to scan these cards in the AR mode from your monitor without printing them out. Scanning them somehow on your PC will not deliver any results;-) --ShardofTruth 22:18, 12 April 2012 (UTC)
AR Card
how does the Displays recruited Dream Eaters to use with the 3DS's outer cameras AR Card work out? can you do a video showing how it works? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 71.58.61.68 (talk • contribs)
Wait until one of the members of this site gets the game so we can show you, otherwise, we're not gonna be able to do it. You have wormed your way to the very nadir of repugnance. - Erry 11:17, 14 April 2012 (UTC)
- It's pretty easy actually, I just didn't know how to describe it in a few words. KH3D has an AR Mode where AR Cards can be scanned to unlock the Dream Eaters, if you use the the second card you can place the Dream Eaters you already unlocked where the card lies and make photos and other stuff like put accessoires on them (at least I think so). Takaturle made a screenshot for me.
- I don't know if that's the same mode where you can pet the Dream Eaters, it looks a bit different than the AR games presented here. --ShardofTruth 13:42, 14 April 2012 (UTC)
Rare Spirit Recipes
how do i get the recipes for the others via streetpass? (i got kingda nyan, and i need kumada daizirkasu, nekuppoi, taihou kabuto, vacaes seal, and fruit cat.) —Preceding unsigned comment added by 71.58.61.68 (talk • contribs)
- That's what I'm asking you, because I don't have the game;-) The statement is taken from a Nomura interview and so far I haven't found anyone who can confirm or deny it. Here is what I know:
- kingda nyan, kumada daizirkasu and nekuppoi are all classified as "breed available" on the official website, you can fuse dream pieces to get the other ones:
- taihou kabuto, vacances seal and fruit cat are all classified as "breed not available/disabled" on the official website, so dream peace fusing won't work. You can still try to scan the AR cards on this site with your 3DS, click on the images to open bigger versions. I know from takaturtle that this works at least for the taihou kabuto without problems. If it's possible to obtain the recipes via streepass you'll have to find out (and report back please), I really don't know.

- The vacances seal may also be unlocked by scanning this image:
- At least the comments are positive about it, I'm not sure if it really works. --ShardofTruth 12:35, 17 April 2012 (UTC)
are you gonna get the fruit cat ar card?—Preceding unsigned comment added by 71.58.61.68 (talk • contribs)
- Your are not the talkative type, are you;-) Anyway, if you could unlock the vacances seal with the fake card, maybe you can unlock the fruit cat with another one:
- Fruit Cat fake AR card by Vauron and PQ
- You may have to tilt your 3DS a bit down to get the card to register. --ShardofTruth 00:46, 18 April 2012 (UTC)
are you gonna upload better scans of the vacanes seal and fruit cat ar cards?—Preceding unsigned comment added by 71.58.61.68 (talk • contribs)
We are eventually, but currently no one has scanned the AR Cards for them. You have wormed your way to the very nadir of repugnance. - Erry 18:48, 24 April 2012 (UTC)
- You could buy the really cheap at yahoo auctions and send them too me anonymous user, then I could scan and upload them^^. Most of the KH3D stuff you want to know or like to have is something we on the wiki want to know and have too. We don't hold it back on purpose and asking about it won't make it appear faster here. Also, please sign your comments, it's not that hard. --ShardofTruth 22:13, 24 April 2012 (UTC)
Amazon-Gamestop
I will upload the picture when I get home (I tried to facebook it, but it wouldn't let me log into my account, whatever), but Gamestop's only version of the game is called "Kingdom Hearts 3D CE with AR Cards", meaning that whether you preorder it or not, you get the cards. According to the Gamestop rep, Amazon was being "sneaky" by acting like the cards were a preorder bonus. As far as the guy knew, it was all the cards.192.249.47.177 19:35, 2 May 2012 (UTC)
Scans
Just to let everyone know that The Terranort Report has created a Dream Eater archive. The owner of the blog is allowing others to submit high-quality images of the AR cards so that one can scan them using their 3DS console. - Sammi (talk) 15:52, 12 July 2012 (UTC)
- This seems a bit pointless to me because there are only five cards in total and chances are very, very slim that there will be more. We accept high-quality images on the wiki too by the way;-) --ShardofTruth (talk) 16:49, 12 July 2012 (UTC)
- Don't our images already work for downloading the Dream Eaters, anyway?
As for me, I'm from Europe, these cards are working, the others maybe won't. It's most likely because of the region lock. Your cards have the images from the japanese cards, but these cards have (slightly) different images and they're working (we only got the three-dreameater card + normal card, but no fruitcat, sealsomething and taihou canon (or whateher there names are)). In fact, these images should be the "real" images. Sum2k3 (talk) 14:47, 22 July 2012 (UTC)
- It seems that the images (and that's all that matters, the card's "serial" is not important) of the cards are indeed different and therefore the game won't unlock the Dream Eater. So we need new scans for the NA/EU cards. --ShardofTruth (talk) 15:32, 22 July 2012 (UTC)
First card
Just checking, but is it possible that there are three different versions of the card in each region, and which one you get determines the Dream Eater you receive? I may be barking up the wrong tree here."We're werewolves, not swearwolves." (KrytenKoro) 17:41, 22 July 2012 (UTC)
- It's chosen by random. When the card is read, you get a different Dream Eater everytime. The second time I read my card on a new saving, I got the Ursa Circus, rather than the Meowjesty in my first saving. You have wormed your way to the very nadir of repugnance. - Erry 18:15, 22 July 2012 (UTC)
- I've seen at least 10+ different photos of the first Japanese (sorry for the abbreviation, that was not my intention) AR Card. Also if that would've been the plan why not make a separate card for each Dream Eater instead? --ShardofTruth (talk) 18:23, 22 July 2012 (UTC)
- I think the only reason behind why they're different for each region is due to the region-lock system in the game. You have wormed your way to the very nadir of repugnance. - Erry 18:50, 22 July 2012 (UTC)
