:The current one is an official render by SE, the one you linked is an render made by me with in-game animations. SquareEnix does some post-processing to their renders (look at the belt for example), they also use unique poses and obviously have no problem with transparency (some of the textures are transparencied by special GS tricks that not all model viewers can utilize). Although the quality of the scan is not that good (mostly due paper and printing issues, and yes these are real problems when scanning images) I still prefer it for the reasons above. --[[User:ShardofTruth|ShardofTruth]] 15:09, 9 May 2012 (UTC)

The current one is an official render by SE, the one you linked is an render made by me with in-game animations. SquareEnix does some post-processing to their renders (look at the belt for example), they also use unique poses and obviously have no problem with transparency (some of the textures are transparencied by special GS tricks that not all model viewers can utilize). Although the quality of the scan is not that good (mostly due paper and printing issues, and yes these are real problems when scanning images) I still prefer it for the reasons above. --ShardofTruth 15:09, 9 May 2012 (UTC)
