In ''Kingdom Hearts Re:coded'', Spinner Ray is similar to a reaction test. Once activated by {{button|dsa}}, a timer, box marking the Combo Limit, and a ring with {{button|dsa}}, {{button|dsb}}, {{button|dsy}} and {{button|dsx}} at equal intervals comes on the top screen. Another smaller circle moves around the larger circle and you must press the correct button as the smaller circle hovers over it. [[Data-Sora]] shoots a large beam of light out which rotates around Data-Sora dealing damage to enemies and the beam rotates faster with every correct button pushed. If 15 buttons are pressed correctly within the time limit then Data-Sora attacks enemies with a blinding light, dealing extra damage.
