NinjaSheik - All of this might have started with a lie...But I'm really am glad that I could meet you...
TALK - No. Sora forgave me even when I deceived him. So, how could I destroy his heart? There's no way! I don't care what happens to me. I won't hurt Sora! I won't do it!
Okay, who did this!?! I want a answer, now!

Ultima - Cake and grief counseling will be available at the conclusion of the test.
Em, it says in the recent changes and in the articles history, did you not know that? Anyway, point fingers at Vonfrank.

Sally, why didn't I listen to you?

Are you okay NinjaShiek? O_o;

this is from what i understand to be the correct timeline

TALK - I am...glad.
Oh, good, there is already a dicussion. The grammar is bad, a lot of the events aren't in order. I don't think this page is necessary at all.

Orpheus of the Lyre Let's Talk ! — Prepare to scream !

Sally, why didn't I listen to you?

Agreed mainly for the fact that this article while not as a whole is distributed among other articles. By clicking on the appropriate game you can get a full summary and by looking up Kingdom Hearts (series) you can find a timeline of the games.

remove it if you want, i dont mind...

i just thought it would be nice to have a timeline of events on this site all in one place

Well, I'm doing my part to clean up this mess. I'll see if I can rewrite some parts so it doesn't get repetitive and incorrectly written. User:JudgmentDay95 18:37 23 July 2009 (UTC)

Doesn't 358/2 days' event happen BEFORE CoM? - Sencilia 09:58, September 22, 2009 (UTC)

Per the argument I've put forth at Heartless, I don't believe the Ansem Reports can be taken as absolute truth. Both writers have known reputations for dishonesty. To an extent, a similar matter goes with Jiminy's Journal, as there is ample evidence within the journal that he is explaining the information he has, and that it may not be right. (See the changing articles on Riku/Ansem in KH2 for an example) I would suggest that if we cover any "Pre-game" stuff here, that it is either straight from Nomura or from cutscenes, and that anything that we have to take on a character's say-so is explicitly explained to be unconfirmed.Glorious CHAOS! 20:47, October 30, 2009 (UTC)

Separation by Game Really Necessary?

I know that I, for one, came to this page just so I could get a clear idea of how the games all merge together. I mean, I wanted to see what the story itself was, not the individual story of each game. It's a bit confusing, isn't it? It was pretty straightforward until 358/2 Days, which threw the article's order out of whack.

So I suggest that, instead of separating by games, separate events by when they occurred.

That would fix any problems with 358/2 Days technically occurring before and during KH1 and Chain of Memories, right? And it would provide a clear transition between events taking place within the context of different games.

SavageLarxene011 21:04, October 30, 2009 (UTC)

Agreed. This page should also have specific day numbers for the events of Days, CoM, and KHII, and should be more detailed time wise in the pre-game (we know that Maleficent took the world of Hollow Bastion 9 years before KH1).Glorious CHAOS! 21:39, October 30, 2009 (UTC)

TALK - I see, so that's a keyblade... - {{{time}}}
Actually, separating the events by game is obviously pointless if we really want to do a timeline. In a timeline events have to be ordered chronologically, not by game. As there are flashback-scenes in several games and stuff like this I would rather suggest to invent a reasonable 'calendar'-system, on which the events can be lined up. Maybe on the same ground as the BBY/ABY-System which is used for the Star Wars-Timeline? In there, events are depicted when they occured, and the main source where the event was shown in is depicted at the end.

So, for KH, we would need to pinpoint first the shown event which is the furthest down in the past, as far as I know that would either be Eraqus and Master Xehanort discussing the Keyblade War or when MX forced Ventus against the neoshadows, or have we an actual shown event before it? After that we'd need the most recent event, which is most likely the scene with Sora on the papou tree holding Mickey's letter and deciding to go out rescuing the others. Between these two anchor-points we would need to fill in all occured Events in chronological order.

Draft

The form of the info on the article was just too riddled with errors to have it up in mainspace. It's too much harm for too little gain. It has been moved here, and it needs to be organized and researched, with times, citations, and Template:Storylink tags.

I would suggest we start with the events of KH1 (using the script and scenes as a reference), and then leave the pre-game type stuff for last - anything which we don't actually see should be amassed as notes from the Ansem Reports, Secret Reports, Jiminy Memo, and any script-claims and then put together.Glorious CHAOS! 21:50, October 30, 2009 (UTC)

Rules
  1. Absolutely no events listed that are not specifically mentioned or observed as happening at that point. For example, we have no way of knowing yet that Maleficent wasn't always allied with Oogie Boogie and them, so don't say "At this point, Maleficent allies with the others." If you are not sure in what order it happened, only speak of it as something like "Maleficent meets with the members of her alliance, which she has so far gathered. Any complications arising from this should be ironed out on the talk page before adding those notes to the main article.
  2. Anything that is not directly observed within the course of the games needs to have a citation to a character's script, and needs to say "According to x" at the beginning of the note.
  3. Don't organize by game. Organize chronologically, though you can have little notes saying "The plot of Kingdom Hearts II begins here" or something.
  4. Any observed events should use the storylink template.
  5. Any flashbacks should be in their correct area, but should still use the storylink template indicating in which game they were first observed.
  6. Absolutely no un-canon info, such as Vcast, the manga(*), or the secret movies. (* Depending on discussion, it is possible we may insert manga-only events once the first draft of this is done)
  7. Where possible, dates should be specified. We can pinpoint virtually any event between Sora using the KoPH and awakening in Twilight Town, and we also know general dates for the pre-game section.

What was on the article previously was absolutely full of factual inaccuracies and organizational errors. That's why the article is stubbed, and I tried to organize something above. However, I can't work on it alone, so if you would like to help, that would be wonderful - but the article needs to be built from the ground up, using sources all the way.

I don't know if this was in anyone's thoughts but... Why is there a few timelines about Sephiroth when there are important things that could go along with it such as Tron and the MCP, to name one. They're just as important to the story as Sephiroth is if not more. This is just my opinion though.

Every day with any storyline on it. Missions with story especially. If stuff needs to be trimmed after that, then we can deal with it then.Glorious CHAOS! 05:07, January 14, 2010 (UTC)

Because the CoM events happen while Roxas is sleeping, maybe it's possible to squeeze the CoM-Timeline in there too. --ShardofTruth 23:43, June 5, 2010 (UTC)

Out of sheer boredom, i actually did construct a timeline lining up the events of 358 days, and COM rikus and soras stories, it details events that only MUST have occured in chronological order. i can post it if anyone would like. it basically lines everything up the way birth by sleep does it, that is, by character and by time it occurs, so basically its a little easier to eyeball, and it follows all the criteria in the above list. yoshiyuki17 11/17/10

Yes, I think we all would like to see this. --ShardofTruth 22:53, November 18, 2010 (UTC)

Update?

480MS.png The list above us looks good. All we need to do is correct the spelling, update the list to enclude BbS's main plot, and maybe put in pre- stuff, such as the begining of the worlds (remember that fairytale Grandma told Kairi?). I have plenty of knowledge of the main plot, so maybe I can help create this list...

We need to do a lot more than that. For example, we need to add the day number to all of the Days plot, as well as any of the plot it overlaps (CoM and KHII). We need to get dates on this thing.

Shard has the days ultimania, which details the calendar of the days, including the overlap. --Neumannz, The Dark Falcon 11:00, 19 July 2011 (EDT)

710MS.png Yeah, an Ultimania is really needed, but I don't have and KH Ultimanias. I'm able to give out lots of info for KHII and BbS, however.

Let's see: not many Disney worlds have major cannon in the plot (other than Agrabah, Never Land, Beast's Castle, Space Paranoids and, in some ways, Enchanted Dominion.) All of the Original worlds have a major plot in the storyline. Maybe we should make a draft somewhere?

Olympus Coliseum is the only one with a major Cannon. The rest of the cannons are all quite small.

Stop that. --Neumannz, The Dark Falcon 12:37, 20 July 2011 (EDT)

fine....hmpph.
All plots in all worlds, using the FM versions as the final canonicity, should be covered, though we might need to compress some of the sidequests with something like "Sora revisits the worlds, preparing for his final battle," -- stuff like Kurt Zisa and the Hades Cup are canon to the storyline, but are pretty much undateable with any kind of precision.192.249.47.165 14:13, 20 July 2011 (EDT)

480MS.png You are right, but I would no longer include Deep Jungle, since it's no longer part of the series, and is considered non-cannon in the overal plot.

Cannon for each Disney World (Ranks are: C for minor/no cannon, B for neutral cannon, A for serious cannon, and S for major cannon):

  • KH1
    • Wonderland - B
    • Olympus Coliseum - C
    • Deep Jungle - C
    • Agrabah - B
    • Monstro - C
    • Atlantica - C
    • Halloween Town - C
    • Never Land - A
    • 100 Acre Wood - C
  • KHII
    • Land of Dragons - B
    • Beast's Castle - A
    • Olympus Coliseum - B
    • Disney Castle - B
    • Timeless River - B
    • Port Royal - B
    • Agrabah - C
    • Halloween Town - C
    • Pride Lands - C
    • Space Paranoids - A
    • 100 Acre Wood - C
  • BbS
    • Enchanted Dominion - A
    • Castle of Dreams - C
    • Dwarf Woodlands - C
    • Disney Town - B
    • Olympus Coliseum - C
    • Deep Space - C
    • Never Land - A

Correct me if I'm wrong. I marked Enchanted Dominion as "A" because of what Terra was forced to do to Aurora that would haunt him for the rest of the game. Space Paranoids is also marked as "A" due to it's part with the Battle of the 1000 Heartless, but would be a "B" ranked world otherwise. All non-Disney worlds are ranked "S". Please note that I only did the worlds in the games I have (and play).

CANON. NOT CANNON. Please stop giving Kryten fodder. --Neumannz, The Dark Falcon 14:34, 20 July 2011 (EDT)

Sorry. I'm just trying to help finish a page. No need to be a wuss. UxieLover1994 15:09, 20 July 2011 (EDT)
Deep Jungle is not at all non-canon, and ranking the worlds by "general impact" really doesn't matter. Everything needs to be on the timeline.192.249.47.165 15:19, 20 July 2011 (EDT)
It was withdrawn from the cannon following the pulling of the Tarzan franchice prior to 2004. It's not even in the Manga, and some of us agree it's no longer cannon. If we are going to argue on this, let's put it in a seperet forum. UxieLover1994 15:25, 20 July 2011 (EDT)
