Story Mode is a gameplay mode in Kingdom Hearts 358/2 Days. In Story mode, the player takes control of Roxas as the main character of the game and must do a set amount of missions to complete the game. Some mission requires an AI-controlled character to serve as Roxas's partner on the mission. Items, Gears, Panels, and Accessories that are obtained in Story Mode can be used in Mission Mode.
