Dark Haze is a technique exclusive to Terra in Kingdom Hearts Birth by Sleep. The user cloaks themself in darkness, and charges their enemies. This attack has a small chance to inflict instant death after a five second period.

Mechanics

In Kingdom Hearts Birth by Sleep, Dark Haze is an Advanced Attack Command that has a maximum level of 4, and a normal reload time of 15 seconds, and fills the Command Gauge by 40%.

• Terra can create Dark Haze through Command Melding.
• Terra can acquire Dark Haze from a chest found in Mermaid Lagoon.
• Terra can purchase Dark Haze from the Moogle Shop for 1100 munny once the command has already been obtained elsewhere.

• The first recipe can only be melded by Terra, and is a type A recipe.
• Fire Dash (LV3) + Blackout (LV3)
• The second recipe can only be melded by Terra, and is a type D recipe.
• Zero Gravira (LV3) + Fire Dash (LV3)
• The third recipe can only be melded by Terra, and is a type C recipe.
• Zero Gravity (LV3) + Fire Surge (LV3)

Other appearances

Terra-Xehanort inherits this technique from Terra, and uses it during his boss battle.
