The Star Shard is an artifact originally belonging to Yen Sid, but was given to Mickey Mouse during his apprenticeship. The Star Shard transports the user, and anyone in physical contact with the user, to a different World. However, the World they are taken to is random, as well as the time the Star Shard is activated.
