Mega Flare (メガフレア Mega Furea?) is a Deck Command in Kingdom Hearts Birth by Sleep and a Finish Command in Kingdom Hearts Re:coded.

In Kingdom Hearts Birth by Sleep it can be obtained by Ventus, Terra, and Aqua. And in Kingdom Hearts Re:coded, Data Sora can obtain it. Once used, the caster fires a fireball that, upon impact of an enemy, creates a blinding, screen-distorting explosion that heavily damages all enemies on screen. It requires two slots to equip. It should be noted that the NA/E Mega Flare command is made weaker, since the Japanese version's Mega Flare is proven to be too powerful.

Etymology

Mega Flare is a recurring attack in the Final Fantasy series. It often appears as the Summon creature Bahamut's signature attack. It is depicted as an upgraded form of the Flare spell, and deals massive non-elemental damage to all enemies.
