The Book of Retribution (裁きの書 Sabaki no Sho) is a Lexicon that can be wielded by Zexion in Kingdom Hearts 358/2 Days. In Kingdom Hearts Re:Chain of Memories and Kingdom Hearts II Final Mix, the Book of Retribution is his only weapon. The Book of Retribution is volume VI of a work titled Ignes Fatui: Another Side ("ignes fatui" being Latin for "delusions"; titled Hallucination: Another Side in the Japanese version). Another Side is the name of the music played during Kingdom Hearts Final Mix 's secret scene, Deep Dive. Also, a hallucination is also known as an illusion, which is Zexion's attribute, VI being Zexion's rank within the Organization.

Design
It is unclear exactly what the pages of the Book of Retribution contain, but from what can be seen, it tells some sort of story and lacks a basic dictionary layout. It is mostly black. The cover displays three white, interconnected Nobody symbols. The back bears the outline of another Nobody logo. The spine of the book displays a Roman number six (VI), along with the title "Ignes Fatui: Another Side" ("ignes fatui" meaning "delusions" in Latin), superimposed over yet another Nobody symbol. In the Japanese version, "Ignes Fatui" is replaced with "Hallucination", a synonym for "delusion".
A "book" is a collection of bound paper containing written material or illustrations. All of Zexion’s weapons are lexicons—a type of book—and many are named after other types of books. "Retribution" is a synonym for "vengeance".
