Genie fights differently than most bosses. He has no [[HP]], [[MP]] Recovery, or [[Experience]]. Genie only attacks Sora and his party when they are closing on Jafar. After Genie attacks, he drops HP Balls, MP Balls, and/or [[Munny]]; the amount and which one(s) depends on the result of Genie's attack. Genie cannot be attacked, and [[Magic]] also has no effect on him. To surpress Genie, simply avoid him and get away from Jafar when Genie approaches. However, some players prefer to make Genie attack, then dodge so as to collect more rewards, and not suffer any damage!

Genie is a Boss who helps Jafar during his battle with Sora and friends during Kingdom Hearts. Genie usually opposes Jafar, but after Jafar aquired the magic lamp, he used a wish to have the Genie aid him in battle.

Strategy

As an omnipotent being, Genie cannot actually be defeated, or even really fought. He acts as a guard for Jafar, and will attack Sora when he gets too close to him, but as his loyalties still lie with Aladdin, he will release restorative orbs afterwards. The only solution is to simply avoid Genie and go straight for Jafar, but if you could use the orbs, provoke an attack Genie but dodge it.
