Applying for Affiliation

Kingdom Key

Affiliate?

An affiliate would link back to its partner, would it not? As far as I'm concerned only two, or three, of the sites here linkback to the KHWiki. Would someone contact them on this matter, or should I just turn this page into "Kingdom Hearts Wiki: External Links"? ^BLUER一番 11:06, October 6, 2009 (UTC)

Now I know I'm not in the position to speak for them, but Auror Andrachrome has been asking me if the Spanish KHW could be affiliated with us. They're asking for the same on KHFR. Dead Fantasy Wiki

Organization 13 - If only the whispers at the top of the ladder carried to the bottom rung... TALK - Parley! Couldn't we ask the http://deadfantasy.wikia.com/wiki/Dead_Fantasy_Wiki to affiliate with us since it has Kingdom Hearts and Final Fantasy in it and the wiki is doing rather well? The Final Fantsy Wiki is affiliated with them too.

KH3 Fanon Wiki

Why have we affiliated with this wiki? The KH3 Fanon Wiki is completely devoid of any activity or improvement to itself, it just sits there collect dust. I am not expected any further enhancement to that wiki, since it has been around since February 2010, and has almost nothing to show for it. The wiki also does not link back to us, and most certainly does not display qualities of a good database of Kingdom Hearts-relevant information that we are trying to affiliate with. --^DTN 18:44, July 19, 2010 (UTC)

I do think the KH3 Fanon Wiki will soon replicate the Kingdom Hearts Wiki. And it was not my decision to affiliate that Wiki with this one. I will talk to ZTG/TLE...Or, I think it was Trois that decided to affiliate the KH3 Fanon Wiki with this one. --史克威尔罗克斯 18:58, July 19, 2010 (UTC)

We certainly aren't seeking a replication for an affiliate, though. What we want is something with the same or a similar subject as the Kingdom Hearts Wiki, but does have something else to offer viewers when they click that "Related Sites" button. Right now, I see nothing the KH3 Fanon Wiki can offer them, or even the baseline of even one fanon story after its nearly six-month existence. In my opinion, these are obvious signs of a dead wiki. --^DTN 19:09, July 19, 2010 (UTC)

There are only two users now, but it's too early to decry it. Just like how it initially was for KHF and KHFrancophone. Of course, with KHFrancophone, Unbirth decided to make us affiliates when our to-be third admin, Thomaskh2, came along. Now KH3F may be far from even complete, but the fact remains that they're willing to be on the same subject, and that they've only got two active users. Dead or not, unlike a person, it can be revived. Also, I'm going with BK's decision which was posted in the archives. Even then the wiki was struggling. So I say keep it ! Sadly, I agree with DTN here. That wiki is a failed state, with no mainspace, and no attempt to make one whatsoever. I think we should get rid of it. KKD

Falcos - You've done it, Ventus. TALK - Now that my body is about to perish... You and I will have to join together! I personally don't think we should be affiliated with ANY fanon wiki... But a dead one? If it's dead, then deaffiliate it. If it happens to become active again later, then you can reaffiliate, if you like. You shouldn't stay affiliated with a site that is inactive.

LegoAlchemist - They changed "Snipe Magnet" to "Magnet Grab"? Who's translating this game, 4kids? TALK - Friendships are in direct contravention of mercenary conduct as delineated in your contracts, and on a personal note: I am very, very, disappointed with you. We have one official Fanon Wiki. Let's leave it at that. We don't need the 3 Fanon on the affiliates list. I'm an admin there, and agree with the removal. Light 'em up.

The Kingdom Key: Deaffiliation

I have recently seen The Kingdom Key after it has gone through its revamp. It is absolutely and in no way a Kingdom Kearts fansite any longer, or even anything remotely related to Kingdom Hearts. With the consensus of the community, I would like to request the immediate deaffiliation of The Kingdom Key and the Kingdom Hearts Wiki, since we no longer have anything in common to foster a connection. --^DTN 18:55, July 19, 2010 (UTC)

EDIT: Up until recently, The Kingdom Key has been a Kingdom Hearts fansite. When our community realized this label no longer reflected our interests, we decided to change and grow rather than die. Yup, it's no longer a kingdom hearts fansite. --Charité 00:48, July 20, 2010 (UTC)

Yes, I would argee with said course of action. The first time I found a redirect explaining the move, I notified BK. Once I saw it "die" to the KH world, I told Kate again. I believe it should be removed effective immediatly. KRCCFNF is tired of being STEPPED ON.
