{{KrytenKoro|Sephiroth could ''possibly'' be Cloud's Pureblood Heartless, since he is a manifestation of Cloud's darkness. But that's a real stretch, especially if, as Auron implies, the FF universe is real, and this is just some kind of afterlife for them.}} |

OK, so I've been working on this since 05. I personally beleive that Sephiroth is Cloud's Nobody... or maybe his Heartless in fleshy form. The key to this is Sephiroth and Clouds meeting where he says to Cloud "I am you." Weither or not he ment that metaporhicly or seriously has yet to be determined, but I myself took it to ment that Cloud at some point might have become a Heartless, saved from the darkness by Tifa or Aerith or even Hades (due to there workings in KH1.) I have more to this theroy, but it's all very sepculative. If anyone has support to this, PLEASE help me!
If Sephiroth is Cloud's nobody, how can Cloud still be around? When a nobody is formed, the original person becomes a heartless. The exceptions to that rule is Sora and Kairi. That's because they got back their hearts. For your theory to make sense, Cloud would have to lost his heart to darkness and then somehow got it back. If Sephiroth is Cloud's heartless, the same problem as Sephiroth being Cloud's nobody still exists: How could Cloud still be around if Sephiroth is Cloud's heartless? Maybe Sephiroth meant that Cloud and Sephiroth are both dark, violent beings that don't care about others. Cloud went to Hades so Hades could help him find Sephiorth. In return, Hades wanted Cloud to take down Hercules and Sora. 68.82.162.148 14:25, 29 April 2009 (UTC)
I don't think so, but maybe Sephiroth's connection to Cloud will be explained in future titles?--PrincessAndie8thprincessofheart 20:16, 5 May 2009 (UTC)
-Facepalm- Those two already said what's been done. Sephiroth is merely the physical manifestation of Cloud's darkness. Nothing more, nothing less Kaihedgie 20:27, 5 May 2009 (UTC)
How did Cloud's darkness become the being known as Sephiroth? I think that's what PrincessAndie8thprincessofheart is talking about. 68.82.162.148 01:30, 7 May 2009 (UTC)
Hellflash1416: If any of you have the game final fantasy VII you would know.
In the Compilation of Final Fantasy VII, Sephiroth was originally Cloud's idol and hero. However after the Nibelheim Incident, which he caused, Cloud resented and hated Sephiroth for hurting Tifa and Zack, as well as the death of his mother. Cloud managed to defeat him in their brief scuffle, but he later a few years later. The last events of Crisis Core left Cloud's mind in a serious rut. When Sephiroth reappeared, he began to torture Cloud mentally, eating away at his mind. Sephiroth's cells had been injected in his body durin' Crisis Core. He kept tellin' him how much he was fake and a puppet. The real ignition between Cloud's and Sephiroth's animosity between one another was when Sephiroth (in truth, Jenova morphed into Sephiroth's image) killed Aeris in front of his eyes. Cloud and his friends were able to defeat Sephiroth before his plans of world domination could come into fruition. Sephiroth invaded Cloud's mind one more time, but he was severely weakened at this point. With him finally defeated, Cloud could rest easy...
Or so he thought. He still felt guilty for not bein' able to save Aeris and Zack, his best friend and whose identity he sub-consciously took at the beginning of FFVII and thus, falls into depression, whilst haunted by Sephiroth when the Geostigma came. Sephiroth did want to rest in peace and wanted to rule the world with his hatred towards Cloud bein' the only thing keeping him alive. It is because of Sephiroth's hatred and burning desire to fight and kill Cloud that this struggle goes on. Sephiroth often picks at and messes with his head claiming that they are the same because they feel the need to fight each other and that they share the same blood (technically, literally).
