Ultima - Cake and grief counseling will be available at the conclusion of the test. OK, a big problem on this wiki has come to my attention. To many user images. I am alright with one or 2, but some users have loads and loads. I say we limit every user to a max of 2 user images, and they can use pjotobuxket for the rest. What do you guys think? -

As long as they keep it on the talk pages, it's not making the articles messy. Plus, isn't offsite linking for images against policy anyway?

It should be noted that our Editing Guide says user pages aren't to be used for image storage. What about if 3 non-wiki related images are allowed per user page? And anything else has to come from the wiki itself or must be stored off site like in photobucket.

TALK - In my mind, this wiki should not be hosting images unrelated to Kingdom Hearts. This isn't supposed to be a blog or a myspace page, and while we're much more relaxed than wikipedia, there's still such a thing as too much.

Okay. Let's get everyone to store non-KH-related user stuff elsewhere, and then once we're all done, we can proceed with deletion. How's that ? ;-) EDIT: I started by marking my Yuffie user image for deletion, and linked back to the same image on Photobucket. Now, please, somebody... help me resize it... It is getting too late for me to go around and delete things right now; if you guys will mark them once you've saved them, I'll take them out tomorrow, since I have some other stuff to get rid of anyway. I'll also update our Editing Guide. If one or more of our mods would also go around and (nicely ^_-) let other users with in-violation images know about our new rule on their talk pages, I would appreciate it. I'll update the Front Page when I'm done here. Give them a week, I suppose. That way they have time to check over the weekend and save anything they want to keep.

Another thing before I proceed to mark all my user images for deletion : how do I resize images from Photobucket, and how do I display them in gallery view ? Both of them don't seem to work. I placed an announcement about the User Image rule in my talk page, and I approached two users thus far. I don't know how else to go about it. I truly can't do this alone. Guys. We have a problem. Photobucket images aren't displaying at all. Only the links are showing. And it's marring our userboxes/infoboxes/whatever. Ultima and I are going through the same problem. This monster... This is no Unversed. Just a dweller of Darkness. • TroisNyxÉtienne

Hello. We are updating the wiki to the latest version of the software (MediaWiki 1.14). There is more information on this at Wikia:Forum:MediaWiki 1.14 upgrade. The photbucket problem was a temporary issue with the image whitelist and is now fixed. The image namespace is now called the file namespace, but File:Whatever... will redirect to File:Whatever... so that no links will break. If you find it causes any problems with templates, please contact staff for help fixing those. Angela<staff /> (talk) 23:48, 23 April 2009 (UTC)
