(The Other Promise)
Line 1: Line 1:
The Other Promise is a orchestra based song. It has a sad melody to it. It is used as Roxas' theme song. The sadness of the song reflects on Roxas' confusion and lonliness. Until he meets Xemnas, Roxas doesn't remember his true name (which would be Sora). This song is also played in Kingdom Hearts II: Final Mix as the battle song as when you fight Roxas as Sora.
The Other Promise is Roxas's battle theme, his usual theme being simply entitled Roxas. It is an orchestral piece that portrays the sombre and troubled life of Roxas, who is Sora's Nobody and therefore non-existent and confused about the truth behind his identity and purpose. A stronger, mellower and deeper version of The Other Promise appears in Drammatica, which features Yoko Shimomura's best work.

Final Occurrence
This song played for the final time when Sora fought Roxas in his vision.

Trivia
*An orchestrated version of The Other Promise appears in Yoko Shimomura's album, Drammatica. It starts in the pace of and begins with Roxas' theme song.
