This battle in ''Kingdom Hearts'' with '''Hercules''' is a real push over, considering that most of Hercules' attacks are easily avoidable.

It is important to know that whenever Hercules is shining gold, that he is completly invincible. You can't harm him at all. When he says "Hey, Give up yet?" you can pick up one of the barrels on the ground and chuck it at him. This will remove his aura, and you'll be able to damage him. If you're really lucky, he will be momentarily stunned when you throw the barrel.

The sonic blade ability is extremely valuable in this fight, because even if you don't damge him, if you use the attack sucessfully he will be stunned.

Hercules' attacks can be very deadly upon hit, so try to avoid them. He can rear into an attack when you least expect it, so always be prepared to back away from him.

''A legendary hero with super strength - and a pretty great fellow, too. Hercules is the son of the gods Zeus and Hera, but he's not a god himself. Not long ago, he joined forces with Sora and his friends to stop Hades from taking over the world.''

When Hercules runs at you with his forheard in front, stay where ever you are and use guard wherever he is near to earn some tech points and to jump into an attack on him.
''Hercules really impresses the crowds when he battles in the Coliseum. He's never lost a match yet.''

However when he spins around with his sword, he is invincible once again.  When this happens, you can do one of three things:
==Appearances==
1. Doge roll around the field to avoid him
* [[Olympus Coliseum]]
2. Keep attacking him even though he won't be damaged. If you have on counterattack, this process is easier.
3. If you have glide or superglide, just fly away from him until he settles down

When ever he says "try this on for size" roll away immediatelyThis attack can kill you in a second, so don't be near him when this happens.
==Strategy==
When Hercules is glowing yellow, he's invincibleWait until he stops to admire his muscles, then pick up a barrel and toss it at him.  The barrel removes the yellow glow, making him vulnerable.  Make sure to throw the barrel at close-range so that you may unleash a combo of attacks on him directly afterwards.

When Hercules is back on his feet, watch out for his counterattacks.  Use [[Glide]] to float around and dodge his charging attack.  After Hercules finishes his spinning tornado attack, he'll get dizzy and if he isn't glowing, he's open for you to attack him.

If he isn't glowing when he uses these attacks, you can stop him by counterattacking, however, it would probably be wiser to wait for him to admire his muscles, and then repeat the strategy all over again.

Strategy

When Hercules is glowing yellow, he's invincible. Wait until he stops to admire his muscles, then pick up a barrel and toss it at him. The barrel removes the yellow glow, making him vulnerable. Make sure to throw the barrel at close-range so that you may unleash a combo of attacks on him directly afterwards.

When Hercules is back on his feet, watch out for his counterattacks. Use Glide to float around and dodge his charging attack.
