Acrisius is an armor from Kingdom Hearts II. It is one of the most powerful armors in the game and can be considered an upgrade of the Aegis Chain. It can only be obtained through Item Synthesis at one of the Moogle shops; the recipe is unlocked by reaching B-level. Successfully making Acrisius is worth 24 syntheisis experience points.

Acrisius+
An upgraded version of the armor, Acrisius+ can also be obtained through synthesis once the B-level is reached. Acrisius+ has the most powerful elemental protection of any armor in the game, with 25% for every element. Like its weaker counterpart, making an Acrisius+ grants 24 synthesis experience points.

Background
Acrisius is the name of one of the kings of Argos in Greek mythology. He and his twin brother Proteus were to share the throne after the death of their father Abas, but Acrisius exiled Proteus; it was only after Proteus returned with the backing of his father-in-law, the King of Lycia, that Acrisius turned his share of the kingdom over to his twin. Acrisius is probably most famous, however, as the grandfather of the hero Perseus.
