The first section begins with Sora, Donald, Goofy, and Jiminy Cricket traveling across the universe when they decide to go to sleep and put the Gummi ship on autopilot. In their sleep, a strange creature crept undetected into the vessel and subsumed the dreams of Sora, who then wakes up on Swashbuckler's Island, where he is shipwrecked and cannot find Donald or Goofy. His goal is to find his friends and leave the island. After you solve puzzles and find items, you are able to leave the island on a raft. The game then ends after you leave the island and picks up in a different game pack. The Heartless in this game as well serve as an enemy. Sora still has his Keyblade and is able to use magic.
