{{Chris|text=Does it seem to anyone else that Villain's Vale, not the castle shown in ''Kingdom Hearts II'', was the world first shown under the name '''Hollow Bastion''' (which literally means "empty fortress")?
I immediately thought that the two were the same due to the circuitry forming the walls in the room in which Pete and Maleficent are shown to meet, for this same sort of apparatus appears behind the walls in ''Kingdom Hearts'' though I find myself contradicted by the clockwork pieces of the castle in the centre of town (as well as what appears to be something that could have been the entrance to the original world in the Kingdom Hearts II artwork) and the statement that Aerith makes regarding the original castle having been Ansem's castle (thereby implying that Ansem's study is in an inaccessible basement region).
While I am not asking that anything in the article be changed, I would like to hear some thoughts on the subject.}}
