Flash first appeared in the 2016 Disney film ''Zootopia'', voiced by {{w|Raymond S. Persi}}. He is an employee of the Zootopia DMV and a friend of [[Nick Wilde]]. Nick and [[Judy Hopps]] visit him to get information about a license plate in their quest to find Emmitt Otterton, but while Flash is able to obtain the information, he is so slow about doing anything, being a sloth, that it is night by the time he finishes, not helped by Nick distracting Flash with a joke.
