Merged together as Terra-Xehanort, when Terra's heart was acting up during the final confrontation with Aqua; Xehanort turned his keyblade on himself in doing so the elderly master caused himself amnesia temporarily losing the ability to use the weapon. Until after being found and taken in as an apprentice to Ansem the Wise, Xehanort along with his master's other pupils betrayed Ansem and continued the horrible experiments he forbade. Ven's heart was set adrift after the battle with Xehanort, he calls out to Sora once more meeting in the young child's station of awakening, as their hearts merged. Not only was Ven's heart prevented from being damaged any further but it allowed Sora to go through his own bequeathing ceremony giving him the ability to use the keyblade in the events to come. | |||
