Genie speaks up, saying he is here to grant the lamp's master three wishes. Genie asks Aladdin what his second wish will be. Aladdin pauses, then asks the Genie to make him a wealthy prince. Just as the Genie is about to grant the wish, Aladdin asks Genie to wait until they reach Agrabah, so he can propose to Jasmine. This doesn't bother Genie, who explains how he rarely sees the outside world due to being bound to his "portable prison."
