After defeating the Heartless swarm, she is lying on the shore of Destiny Island and watches the sunset until she realises that this world starts to dissolve since Sora and Riku have defeated [[Ansem, Seeker of Darkness|Ansem]] and closed the Door to Darkness, leading to every world being lost in the darkness to be restored in the Realm of Light. Once Destiny Island has fully dissolved, Aqua once again sinks into the darkness, not knowing where she is going to end up at next.
