The Spellican appears as a boss in [[Traverse Town]], during it's second visit, and the [[Symphony of Sorcery]] for [[Sora]]. In Traverse Town, it is not fought physically, though  it it responsible for summoning all of the Nightmare [[Dream Eater]]s during the second visit, and summons the [[Hakozaru]], [[Bullet Gargoyle]] and [[Char Clawbster]] to attack Sora. While Sora defeats all of these Nightmares, the Spellican itself escapes to the [[Symphony of Sorcery]]. It waits for Sora in an area ressembling ''The Sorcerer's Apprentice''. When Sora finally arrives there, it flies past and signals Sora to follow it. He does so and, after a long battle, finally defeats it. It also appears to [[Riku]] during his second visit to [[Traverse Town]], but merely provokes him, and only summons six [[Tsunokeratops]]' to attack him. Riku defeats all of these.
