Bladecharge (ブレードチャージ Burēdochāji ) is a style and technique that appears in Kingdom Hearts Birth by Sleep and Kingdom Hearts 3D: Dream Drop Distance. It allows the user to extend their Keyblade with an aura in order to extend the range of their attacks.
Mechanics
In Kingdom Hearts Birth by Sleep, Bladecharge is a Level 2 Command Style exclusive to Terra and Aqua that can be activated by using fire-, blizzard-, or Strike-related commands while in a Level 1 Command Style. - Riku can use Bladecharge when Dual Linking with a Lord Kyroo and any other Spirit.
- Riku can use Bladecharge by linking with two Physical/Light-style Spirits.
- Riku can use Bladecharge by linking with a Physical/Light-style and a Fire-style Spirit.
- Riku can use Bladecharge by linking with a Physical/Light-style and a Dark-style Spirit.
