:::::Wikis require verification. They do not allow people to just claim things that are "obvious", because doing so has a terrible track record. We're not trying to get the man's pay rescinded or something -- the article is literally just stating that there is a lack of a formal citation. Which...is true. That's an objectively true thing. I don't get why you're so fixated on removing that objectively true statement "because it's been seven years". Citations that meet wiki policy don't just crystallize on their own, ex nihilo, over the course of years -- either an editor has managed to acquire a suitable citation, or they haven't. It's pretty black-and-white, and its the requirement on wikipedia too. | :::::Wikis require verification. Citation Needed
I'm sorry but Why does Fred Tatasciore have the "citation needed" here for that long? That "citation needed" has been here long enough and frankly, I just don't understand why is it still there 7 years later. Third, I'm perplexed that the majority of the KH3 Disney characters have their English voice actors listed and are fine without the "citation needed" so why they get the free pass but not the ones from Dream Drop Distance."
I'm sorry, but frankly it doesn't make sense just to keep the citation needed when it is literally Fred Tatasciore and secondly he's not in ANY social media which makes it pointless on asking him if he's in the when it has been 7 years since DDD came out.--98.198.221.97 17:27, 1 February 2019 (UTC)
- Was it confirmed anywhere specific that he's playing this character in this game? Or is this just what you "know"? --Neumannz, The Dark Falcon 17:43, 1 February 2019 (UTC)
- "Was it confirmed anywhere specific that he's playing this character in this game? Or is this just what you "know"?" It's not because it is what I know it's obvious that it's his actor, besides it makes no sense to just continue waiting 7+ years even longer to have the "citation needed" listed on the pages Kevin Flynn, CLU and the Beagle Boy's English voice actors when no other actor matches the character they played, not to mention that Fred doesn't use ANY form of Social media (e.g. Twitter). If you guys want to continue leaving it as it was then that's your choice but honestly, it just is not right to see this continue to be listed on the pages for 7 years or even longer.--98.198.221.97 20:15, 1 February 2019 (UTC)
- "Why does Fred Tatasciore have the "citation needed" here for that long? " -- because a citation has been missing for that long.
- "the majority of the KH3 Disney characters have their English voice actors listed and are fine without the "citation needed"" -- because the citation has been confirmed, and is listed on the main appendix."We're werewolves, not swearwolves." (KrytenKoro) 18:32, 1 February 2019 (UTC)
- "because the citation has been confirmed, and is listed on the main appendix" -- @KrytenKoro, Well because the voice actors were easy to be matched and also some of the voice actors (e.g. Piotr Michael, Roger Craig Smith, Mick Wingert, Jared Butler etc..) they ALL confirmed their roles in Social Media, yet some actors who normally don't have a social media account like Tom Kenny (Rabbit), Kelsey Lansdowne (Rapunzel), Leslie Miller (Tia Dalma) were easily that specific character and NO ONE Else. Agree to disagree, but Once again, I'm sorry it makes no sense to just wait 7+ years more so even longer to have the "citation needed" for Kevin Flynn, CLU and the Beagle Boy's English voice actors to have it on there when no other actor matches the character they played and not to mention that Fred doesn't use ANY form of Social media.--98.198.221.97 20:15, 1 February 2019 (UTC)
@"We're werewolves, not swearwolves." (KrytenKoro) and Neumannz, The Dark Falcon Hello? You still there?!?!?--98.198.221.97 19:45, 3 February 2019 (UTC)
- Hello. Kryten and Neumannz might have missed this in the flood of edits on the recent changes list. Not sure I'm much help, but I'll try to explain. Citations are good to have in general, but mainly as another means of supporting the info we publish on here. Regarding the elapsed time, just because a certain amount of time has passed doesn't mean it is an automatic case-closed or no secondary support needed. Quite the contrary, sometimes it is these kind of citations that are used in later discussions. So, while it is somewhat an eyesore and may seem ridiculous, the citation is needed. - Then again, you got the majority of the Disney characters in KH3 have their English voice actors listed and are fine without the "citation needed, as they ALL confirmed their roles in Social Media (e.g. Piotr Michael, Roger Craig Smith, Mick Wingert, Jared Butler etc..), yet some actors who normally don't have a social media account like Tom Kenny (Rabbit), Kelsey Lansdowne (Rapunzel), Leslie Miller (Tia Dalma) were easily that specific character and NO ONE Else.

Keep in mind this was before KH started to gain relevance through social media and before certain actors involved in the games confirmed their roles like some of the KH3 actors on social media sites like Twitter. Better to ask Fred's agency just like you guys did it with the other voice actors in DDD.--73.77.161.206 05:32, 5 February 2019 (UTC)
- There is no such thing as "too long". If the information doesn't exist, it doesn't exist.
- Also, Fred has a twitter account. I don't know where you're getting this idea he doesn't. Here."We're werewolves, not swearwolves." (KrytenKoro) 17:59, 11 February 2019 (UTC)
- "There is no such thing as "too long". If the information doesn't exist, it doesn't exist." - Yes there is, your just to blinded no fixated on it for 7+ years just to confirm if it's him when obviously it's his actor, secondly as I said before which you continue to ignore this none of the actors at the time DDD came out none of the voice actors involved didn't have them announced: "Hey I'm this character in that game" because at the time it didn't garner the attention and momentum that the later games have which is why you went on a scavenger hunt just asking the actors from DDD if they voiced this character. This is different cause as during HD 2.5, II.8 and especially KH3 their was no need to put in a "citation needed" and asking the English voice actors directly, as they ALL confirmed their roles in Social Media (e.g. Joe Ochman, Piotr Michael, Max Mittelman, Ray Chase, Roger Craig Smith, Mick Wingert, Jared Butler, Eliza Schneider etc..) because that's when KH got popular and momentum and I expect the same thing for the future KH titles for the specific actors involved in these titles.--73.77.161.206 20:20, 11 March 2019 (UTC)
- "Also, Fred has a twitter account. I don't know where you're getting this idea he doesn't." Well because his first Twitter account was deleted after it remained inactive since 2013 after he stopped using it. So don't blame me for not noticing I just was unaware he created a new account. But fyi, sometimes actors might not respond to tweets either they aren't interested or because they aren't on twitter as often. So my best bet just ask the agency rather than wait a month more so years being fixated on getting the case closed already--73.77.161.206 20:20, 11 March 2019 (UTC)
- Enough of this, you guys. Also, I should've brought this up earlier, but after DDD came out, I actively tried getting confirmation from all of the VAs who were not credited for their specific roles due to the confusion that sprouted because of false rumors and unreliable edits on IMDB. And yes, that included Mr. Tatasciore. For the record, I did contact his agency directly several times, but never got a response back.--NinjaSheik 20:32, 11 March 2019 (UTC)

If you're not interested in having a good faith discussion, then why not just stop keeping the fucking "Citation Needed" ON EVERY page.

I'm not interested in continuing this discussion even after you block my IP address since you've shown absolutely no argument and justification you're attempting to argue with.--73.77.161.206 22:13, 30 April 2019 (UTC)
- ...in what way is Ninja stating that she tried to get formal confirmation from Tatasciore, and he neglected to respond, "disingenuous"? You demanded that we contact Tatasciore's agency, she informed you we already had. She's stating facts.
