Synopsis

Due to the mishap, Ping's true gender and identity are revealed. Mushu appears, scolding the trio on their new discovery. After a short reunion, Mushu asks that the trio never reveal Ping's true identity, as she could be killed. Mulan recalls how she ran away to home to join the army to take her father's place. Despite the dishonor that would befall her family should she be discovered, Mulan still insists she can do what needs to be done. Claiming to understand, Sora agrees to help.

Elsewhere, Shan-Yu and a hooded Organization XIII member meet in a cave. The Organization member urges Shan-Yu to join them, stating that he will in turn get everything he desires. Shan-Yu instantly agrees. A messenger soon arrives, informing the two of an ambushing awaiting them in the pass. Shan-Yu pushes the threat aside, claiming that with their new power they are unstoppable.

With their training complete, the Imperial army begins its march along the mountain pass. Along the way, Chi-Fu belittles the army, claiming they are no match for the Huns. Shang dismisses Chi-Fu's words, stating they are ready. Upon arrival at the mountain village, the army finds only the charred remains of the town. Amidst the rubble, the general's, Li Shang's father, helmet is found. Suddenly, Shan-Yu and his army begin their attack on the village. As the opposing army begins their descent down the mountain, the Imperial army begins their counterattack, firing cannons directly at the Huns. During the battle, Li Shang is injured. Ping commandeers a rocket, instead aiming at the peak of a mountain. After firing the rocket, Ping is attacked by Heartless. Sora saves Ping just as an avalanche begins.
