Outbreak is a pair of Chakrams that can be wielded by Axel in Kingdom Hearts 358/2 Days. It can be upgraded to Outbreak+ by equipping the Rage Gear+.

Design

An Outbreak Chakram has a main wheel that is divided in half, both halves being held together by the cross-shaped handle. Each half of the main wheel sports four spikes of increasing size shaped like the spikes on the Nobody symbol. All of the spikes slant in the same direction. The entirety of this type of Chakram is black, except for the halves of the main wheel, both of which have a yellow line through their centers, and the handle, which is red-orange.

Gameplay

The ground combo begins with a jumping slash, followed by a mid-air 180° spin slash. It is followed by another jumping slash, and finished when Axel jumps in the air and throws his chakrams straight down.

The aerial combo is significantly longer, consisting of seven moves in total. It begins with a few slashes going left to right, accompanied by some spins, in turn, and is finished with a vertical spinning attack, in which Axel rolls in mid-air, his chakrams spinning upward around him.
