The Brume (陽炎 Kagerō?, lit. "Heat Haze") is a set of Lances that can be wielded by Xaldin in Kingdom Hearts 358/2 Days. It can be upgraded to the Brume+.

Design

A Brume lance's shaft is silver in the center and navy on the ends. The two colors are divided by small, khaki-colored rings. The lower blade of the lance is light orange and has a simple arrowhead shape. The upper blade is larger and wider than the lower one, and is also two-pronged. This blade is orange as well.

"Brume" is an obscure term for "fog". "Heat haze" is a type of mirage brought about by hot air.

Gameplay

Brume’s ground combo starts with a sideways slash using one lance, followed by a downward diagonal slash using the other lance, and ends with an attack that consists of Xaldin swinging all six lances in a circle above his head, resembling helicopter blades.

The aerial combo consists of Xaldin swinging his lances above him in a circular formation, like a fan, followed by a thrust of all six lances forwards at once in a pointed, star-like shape.
