:Just checked the game myself. It is indeed true for Fire, Blizzard, and Thunder. Cure and Sleep do get upgraded, and Spark only appears as Sparkga. The Ultimania does list the upgrades, so it may indeed be a localization thing. Is there anyone who can check the original Japanese version?
