Synopsis
Kairi remembers a conversation she had to Roxas, in which she also gets to hear the voice of the boy she cannot remember. He leaves her a clue to his name: "Starts with an 'S'".
Selphie then catches up with Kairi, who then throws a bottle with a note into the ocean. Kairi tells Selphie that she wrote a letter to the boy she cannot remember, saying that no matter where he is, they'll meet again. Selphie questions whether it will really reach him, especially since it's got no name on it. "It'll reach him", says Kairi. "'Cause I did remember his name. Right?! Sora?!"
Roxas wakes up back in his room, recalling that he fell from the clock tower at the station, and dreamt of speaking with Kairi. He soon notices that his orb has disappeared, and that there's only three days left of summer vacation. Upon reaching the Usual Spot, Olette is demanding to Hayner that they finish their homework assignment right now. The quartet decided to focus their assignment on the Old Mansion. One rumor about it is the girl that appears on the second floor window. Of course, Seifer was there too, for the exact same reason. As everyone tries to break down the gate, Roxas passes out.
He wakes up inside a white room, where he encounters Naminé. He notices a lot of drawings throughout the room, including one of him with Axel, whom Naminé confirms is his best friend. Naminé reveals herself to be a witch with control over Sora's memories, and the ones of those around him. Of course, that's what DiZ calls her. Naminé reveals that Sora is sleeping to regain his lost memories, which she took apart nearly a year ago, and is now fixing. But right now, he needs Roxas, because the latter is half of what he was. Not only that, Roxas was never supposed to exist.
Roxas wakes up outside the mansion. Seifer and his gang are gone, but they are still locked outside the mansion. Roxas notices the curtains moving, which his friends dismiss as a draft somewhere in the mansion. We cut back to DiZ, who orders the man in black to dispose of Naminé.
