Synopsis

A group of villains shrouded by the darkness are watching Sora, Donald, and Goofy while discussing Sora's progress and abilities as a Keyblade wielder. The leader, Maleficent, then states that Sora could be useful to their plans regardless if he defeats or is defeated by the darkness. Back in Traverse Town, Sora is raring to head off, but Donald and Goofy educate him about the World Order, which Leon and Yuffie reveal to be disrupted because of the Heartless. They then tell a curious Sora that a researcher, Ansem, filed a report on the entities. Yuffie tells them that she thinks the report could be in useful in solving the mystery surrounding the Heartless, but the report is scattered through different worlds. Donald and Goofy then develop a theory that the King went to look for the report. Meanwhile, Riku questions his location as he wakes up in Hollow Bastion.
