Item Boost (アイテムアップ Aitemu Appu , lit. "Item Up") is an ability introduced in Kingdom Hearts II. It increases the effectiveness of recovery items. It can be multi-installed to increase its effects.
Mechanics
In Kingdom Hearts II, Item Boost is a support ability that requires 2 AP to equip.
In Kingdom Hearts Birth by Sleep, Item Boost is a stats ability that can be installed up to three times.
In Kingdom Hearts 3D: Dream Drop Distance, Item Boost is a stats ability that can be installed up to three times. It also boosts the effect of Break Time.

- Dual-Wielding Roxas has Item Boost as a default ability.
- Sora learns Item Boost at levels 7 with the Dream Shield, 9 with the Dream Rod, and 17 with the Dream Sword.
