Dark Roll (ダークロール, Dāku Rōru) is a technique which appears in Kingdom Hearts 3D: Dream Drop Distance. It allows the user to dodge attacks by melting into the shadows.

Mechanics

Dark Roll is a Movement Command exclusive to Riku which can be equipped in place of a Dodge Roll-type command. By using this command, you will seep into the shadows and be impervious to attacks whilst you are in the shadows. You can quickly use it in succession and no attack will be able to hurt you as long as you keep using this command. Therefore, it is very helpful although you will likely only get it late in the game, if at all.
