KrytenKoro - Most bears were content to live their lives, mauling and eating one, maybe two humans at most. "Mass-murder," as the bears always said, "is for the sharks." But not Barry. Barry was different. He knew that one day, he would kill ALL of the humans. This is the inspiring, tear-jerking story of one bear and the dream he dared to dream.

Coupl'a things.
  1. Right now, the enemy template puts every character without a specified "company" in the original characters category. Any Disney or FF characters appearing in this category should have their company parameter filled as soon as possible.
  2. Furthermore, everything that uses these templates is placed into the per-game character categories. With a bit of tuning, I can have it only place bosses of any type in those categories. With a LOT of tuning, I can have it only places characters and character bosses in those categories, with any Heartless Boss or Nobody Boss characters (Ansem, the Organization, Replicas) being placed in those categories, and we hand-code categories for everything else. With a different sort of tuning (Still major) I can do it so that characters are ONLY placed in character categories if a special
    |char=*
    is added. Which is preferred?
  3. Do we want Heartless and other generic enemies to list all their worlds on the main infobox, or is it preferable to list them only on the stat pages? Also, do we want generic enemies to be listed in the category for each world they appear in (so that Agrabah's category contains all pages specifically related to agrabah, as well as any characters/enemies who appear there?)

Would it be possible to put bosses in both character and enemy categories? Also, I want to edit my comments from last night about the world categories, the only games there'll be an issue for are KH1 and possibly KHD, because there are already separate parameters for each location in the other games. --Neumannz, The Dark Falcon 18:25, 12 March 2012 (UTC)

KrytenKoro - "Space Corp Directive 195—In an emergency power situation, a hologrammatic crew member must lay down his life in order that the living crew members might survive."
"Yes, but Rimmer Directive 271 states just as clearly: 'No chance, you metal bastard.'"

Anything that has stats for a game is already placed in the enemies or boss category for that game.

I'm alright with either of the first two options, assuming I'm reading the second one right. --Neumannz, The Dark Falcon 18:58, 12 March 2012 (UTC)

  1. All bosses regardless of species are listed as characters. Stretches the definition of characters but is simplest to implement.
  2. Only characters, character enemies, and character bosses are listed as characters. About the same time to implement for within the template, automatically lists everything using spec-characterboss as a character (including mechanisms), and requires us to hand-code all the characters categories for each Nobody, Unversed, and Heartless character.
  3. Character templates are activated if char parameter is *. Moderate to implement, gives full control over which template-users are considered characters, but requires us to address every page individually. AWB could be used to ease this up by doing something like:
    {{Enemy
    >
    {{Enemy|char=*
, and then typing a return by hand."We're werewolves, not swearwolves." (KrytenKoro) 20:41, 12 March 2012 (UTC)

I believe item 1 (re: original characters) is resolved.

Again, I'm alright with either of the first two options.
