Blizzard Edge (ブリザドブレード, Burizado Burēdo, lit. "Blizzard Blade") is a technique in Kingdom Hearts Birth by Sleep and Kingdom Hearts Re:coded. The user executes a jumping attack while cloaked in ice, ice bursting from the ground afterwards for additional damage.

Mechanics

In Kingdom Hearts Birth by Sleep, Blizzard Edge is a Basic Attack Command that has maximum level of 3, a normal reload time of 10 seconds, and fills the Command Gauge by 20%

In Kingdom Hearts Re:coded, Blizzard Edge is an Attack Command that has a memory consumption of 13% and a reload time of 13 seconds.

• The first recipe can be melded by Terra, Ventus, Aqua, and is a type H recipe that has a 5% chance of transforming into Ars Arcanum when Ventus meld it.
  • Quick Blitz (LV2) + Blizzara (LV2)
• The second recipe can be melded by Terra, Ventus, Aqua, and is a type G recipe that has a 5% chance of transforming into Ars Arcanum when Ventus meld it.
  • Quick Blitz (LV2) + Blizzard (LV2)
• The third recipe can be melded by Terra, Ventus, Aqua, and is a type G recipe that has a 5% chance of transforming into Ars Arcanum when Ventus meld it.
  • Sliding Dash (LV2) + Blizzara (LV2)
• The fouth recipe can be melded by Terra, Ventus, Aqua, and is a type E recipe that has a 5% chance of transforming into Ars Arcanum when Ventus meld it.
