The Veneration is a pair of Ethereal Blades that can be wielded by Xemnas in Kingdom Hearts 358/2 Days. It can be upgraded to the Veneration+ and the Veneration++.

Design

Veneration has a question mark shape, with the tip of the blade coming to a sharp hook and curling inward so much that it nearly touches the base of the blade. The outer side of the blade is lined by several spikes shaped like those of the Nobody logo. This type of Ethereal Blade has a blue glow. Like Sanction and Overlord, it releases blue sparks and lines upon striking.

"Veneration" is an expression of awe or reverence.

Gameplay

The ground combo of Veneration is identical to that of Overlord; it consists of a single slash from left to right, and an upward slash into the air followed by two quick slashes with knockback, from left to right and from right to left. From there the combo transitions directly into the aerial combo.

The aerial combo consists of a mid-range, double-spin slash, a short-range upwards slash, two mid-range forward slashes, and two consecutive wide range spinning slashes with knockback.

While Veneration+ has the same combos as Veneration, Veneration++ adds a second slash from left to right before the upward slash.
