It is fought in the "Vista to Darkness" (闇への遠望, Yami e no Enbou^?) Arena Mission. During the battle, it sits on a throne in the Throne Room of the Land of Departure and wields Master Xehanort's Keyblade. Its armor bears a striking resemblance to the armor Xemnas wore during his final battle with Sora and Riku in Kingdom Hearts II.
