My History with Kingdom Hearts

My history with Kingdom Hearts, like many others, started by accident. It was in 5th grade when my I went to my cousin's house, and he was playing CoM on his Game Boy. The game seemed interesting to me, so I asked him to to explain more about the game. I learned about many things about Kingdom Hearts during that time, and so, together with my cousin, our interest for Kingdom Hearts grew. Unfortunately, my parents wouldn't get me a PS2, so I savored the moments when I was at my cousin's house and we could play KH, KH2, Re:CoM, and CoM. Eventually, Days was released, and I eagerly bought it and started playing right away. Playing Kingdom Hearts on the DS was so much more different, but Days helped me relate the story to my own life. During that time, I felt like a Nobody at school. I wasn't one of the popular kids or anything, I was just one of those so-so people. But at that time, my classmates were judging me and everyone else by their first impression, and not letting themselves being swayed by the other encounters. Eventually, I was either ignored or unnoticed. Days provided a way for me to relate my situation to Roxas's, and it felt soothing to just play a video game with a character that has experienced something similar to your ignored and unnoticed situation. Finally, BbS came out. By then, I wasn't a Nobody anymore, more like a Somebody. When I played through it, I no longer felt the sorrow and the loneliness that I had once felt when I played it. Even when sad situations occured in the story, I was able to think positive and imagine possibilities that Terra could resurface from his battle for his heart between him and Master Xehanort, that Aqua could make it out of the Realm of Darkness, that Ven could somehow snap out of his coma event though his heart resided in Sora's. Kingdom Hearts has helped me make it through my life, and I hope to relay the information that could help the wiki and help others that might possibly be interested in Kingdom Hearts.
