As in other role-playing games, the capabilities of characters in the Kingdom Hearts series is represented by statistics, or stats. Stats determine the amount of damage that can be dealt, the number of abilities that can be equipped, and the amount of magic that can be cast, among other attributes. Statistics generally increase as characters level up or reach certain milestones in a game.
