Mega Flare (メガフレア Mega Furea?) is a technique in Kingdom Hearts: Chain of Memories, Kingdom Hearts Birth by Sleep, and Kingdom Hearts Re:coded. Once used, the caster fires a fireball that, upon impact of an enemy, creates a blinding, screen-distorting explosion that heavily damages all enemies on screen.

It should be noted that the Mega Flare in the International releases of Kingdom Hearts Birth by Sleep is made weaker, since the Japanese version's Mega Flare is proven to be too powerful.[citation needed]

In Hollow Bastion library, in a room that, when a switch is activated, three columns of Bug Blox rise. On the top of one of the columns, there is a Rare Prize Block that contains Mega Flare. It should be noted that Mega Flare is only available in Story Mode due to the appearance of the Bug Blox columns.
