Item Boost (アイテムアップ Aitemu Appu , lit. "Item Up") is an ability that appears in Kingdom Hearts II and Kingdom Hearts Birth by Sleep. It increases the effectiveness of recovery items. In Kingdom Hearts II, it requires 2 AP to equip, while in Kingdom Hearts Birth by Sleep, up to three copies of it can be equipped.

- Double-Keyblade Roxas has Item Boost as a default ability.
- Sora learns Item Boost at level 7 with the Dream Shield, 9 with the Dream Rod, and 17 with the Dream Sword.
- Goofy has Item Boost as a default ability.
- Mulan has Item Boost as a default ability.
- Beast has Item Boost as a default ability.
- Jack Sparrow has Item Boost as a default ability.
- Aladdin has Item Boost as a default ability.
