The Ball of Light is a unique enemy which appears exclusively in Kingdom Hearts Birth by Sleep in the Land of Departure.
Story
The Ball of Light is not a true antagonistic enemy, but instead is part of Terra and Aqua's Master Qualification Exam. The first stage of their exam consists of battling several of these, which Master Xehanort has tainted with darkness. Ven then rushes in to Terra and Aqua's aid. The Balls of Light are defeated with ease, and Terra and Aqua continue their exam.
