Critical Boost (クリティカルアップ Kuritikaru Appu , lit. "Critical Up"), also translated as Critical Plus in Kingdom Hearts, is an ability that appears in Kingdom Hearts, Kingdom Hearts Final Mix, and Kingdom Hearts 358/2 Days. In Kingdom Hearts and Kingdom Hearts Final Mix, equipping the ability increases the odds of dealing critical damage, with the effect boosted with more equipped, and in Kingdom Hearts 358/2 Days, it allows you to potentially deal critical hits with any kind of attack.
Learning Critical Boost
Kingdom Hearts
- Sora learns Critical Plus at levels 21, 69, and 90 with the Dream Rod; levels 48, 78, and 90 with the Dream Sword; and levels 51, 75, and 90 with the Dream Shield.
- Tarzan has Critical Plus as a default ability.
- Aladdin has Critical Plus as a default ability.
- Peter Pan has Critical Plus as a default ability.
- Beast has Critical Plus as a default ability.
Kingdom Hearts Final Mix
- Sora learns Critical Plus at levels 48 and 75 with the Dream Shield, levels 84 and 99 with the Dream Sword, and levels 96 and 100 with the Dream Rod; he also learns it after completing the Hercules Cup alone.
- Tarzan has Critical Plus as a default ability.
- Aladdin has Critical Plus as a default ability.
