Mission 8 for Kingdom Hearts 358/2 Days is Roxas's first mission in which he must destroy a specific type of Heartless: Watchers.

Story Summary

Roxas is paired with Larxene for his first mission in which he must find specific targets.

Mission Walkthrough

Your mission shall begin in Twilight Town's Station Plaza. Simply walk toward the next area to encounter your first Watcher. These enemies can attack with a laser, and they will begin to look down before they do. If Roxas is hit by the laser, he may be inflicted with the status shoe-glue, in which he cannot jump or perform aerial combos. This will make defeating Watchers difficult. They can be taken out with direct combat, or a simple Fire spell will quickly finish them off. Defeat the first Watcher and proceed to the Station Heights. You will find an additional two Watchers toward this area's southern exit. Proceed to the Sandlot.

Once in the Sandlot, you will be ambushed by a team of four Watchers. To eliminate them quickly, use all of your Fire spells, then go in for close combat to defeat the remainder. Be cautious if you decide to use a Limit Break, as a laser from a Watcher that you are not attacking can wipe you out, even while attacking.

Once the four Watchers are defeated, the Mission Gauge will be full and the mission complete. Be sure to grab the Iron and Potion that are by the two benches in the Sandlot. Now, return to the Station Plaza to RTC.

Ignore absolutely every enemy that is not a Watcher. To eliminate a Watcher quickly, use a Fire or Thunder spell for quick elimination. Save some magic for the four Watchers in the Sandlot, then quickly return to the Station Plaza, ignoring all enemies along the way back.
