I haven't quite got the fine points down, like...when, or where... It just kinda kicks in whenever it wants to.

Story

Kingdom Hearts Birth By Sleep

Scans have shown the Queen confronting both Terra and Ven in Dwarf Woodlands.

One screen shows her in her normal form, explaining to Terra that she isn't interested in a person's heart. She also tells Terra that if he kills Snow White, she will use her Magic Mirror to show him the location of Master Xehanort.[1] In another shot, she's shown in her Witch form, with Ven handing her the poisoned apple which she had dropped. She would later give it Snow White.

Origin

The Queen made her debut in Disney's first ever animated film; Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs. Stepmother of Snow White, she longed to kill the girl out of jealousy of her beauty. Consulting her Magic Mirror, she hired a huntsman to do the job. The man let Snow White escape, however, much to the Queen's displeasure.

She eventually found the girl in a cottage owned by the Seven Dwarfs, transforming into an old hag; her intention was to look like a kindly grandmother, yet this was not the case. She convinced Snow White to bite from a poisoned apple, that would kill her unless she received Love's First Kiss. The Dwarfs went after the Queen, however, the villain sent toppling off a cliff when one of her own schemes backfired.

Trivia

  • The actress that will voice the Queen in the English Birth by Sleep has yet to be determined. The Queen's last actress, Lucille La Verne, passed away in March of 1945.
  • The Queen's first appearance in the Kingdom Hearts series was actually in the first Kingdom Hearts, a picture of her witch form appearing on Snow White's stain-glass podium in the Awakening.
