Dusk Survival is a training exercise for Roxas in Missions 10 and 71 in Kingdom Hearts 358/2 Days. In this mission, Roxas must survive the battle with multiple Dusks in the Hall of Empty Melodies's lower level, with no escape until the mission ends, which is after one minute. Also, the goal of this mission is to survive attacks from the Dusks, not to defeat them.
Mission Objective and Information
Mission 10

Information : Survive for one minute.
Mission 71
Objective : Prove your endurance.
Information : Survive for two minutes.
Strategy
During this training session, the Dusks will utilize a forward slap and a headbutt as their only two attacks. A good way to ensure success in this mission is to use Roxas's Limit Break and the Guard Ability. Try to conserve healing items, as they will prove much more useful in later missions.
Samurai Nobodies also appear, but for only the last minute of the latter mission. Their sword attacks can be dealt with the same way as those used by the more numerous Dusks via Guard, yet keep in mind that the Samurais' slashes cause much more damage. It is advised that should the Limit Break or healing items and spells need to be used at all during this mission, that they be used only as a last resort at this point.

Trivia
- The battle music for Dusk Survival is "Rowdy Rumble."
- It is interesting to note that the Dusks utilize far fewer attacks than in their past appearance as enemies in Kingdom Hearts II.
- The Dusk Survival event is the only instance in which lesser Nobodies such as Dusks are fought in Kingdom Hearts 358/2 Days. This only other time this is possible is when Roxas attempts to leave the Organization and the World That Never Was at the end of the game.
