"The Other Promise" is the theme played during the battle with Roxas in Kingdom Hearts II Final Mix. It is a remix of Roxas's normal theme, "Roxas", and plays as an orchestral piece that portrays Roxas's somber and troubled life as a non-existent Nobody confused about his identity. A stronger, mellower and deeper version of "The Other Promise" appears in Drammatica, which features Yoko Shimomura's best work.
"The Other Promise" is heard in all released trailers for Kingdom Hearts 358/2 Days, as well as on the official site of the game. It was rumored that The Other Promise would be the theme song to Kingdom Hearts 358/2 Days, but it was revealed in an interview that the game's theme would be Sanctuary, as it is in Kingdom Hearts II.
The Other Promise was also featured in the Piano Collections Kingdom Hearts.
