The Dark Meridian is a mysterious place in Kingdom Hearts. It is first seen in "Another Side, Another Story" video. In the first cutscene of Kingdom Hearts 2, Roxas on a dark, moonlit beach, where Xemnas appears. It reappears in the end of Kingdom Hearts 2. After defeating Xemnas, Riku and Sora end up on the Dark Meridian, seemingly in the Realm of Darkness. Suddenly a door appears, leading them to Destiny Islands, when Sora read the Kairi's Letter.
