Shade Archive and its upgrade Shade Archive+ are accessories that can be obtained in Kingdom Hearts II: Final Mix+. Named after the weapon of lost Organization XIII member Zexion, it offers a decent boost to Magic and a good boost to AP, but no boost to strength. To make up for this, however, Shade Archive+ also grants the MP Rage ability when equipped.
It can only be obtained through Item Synthesis. The only difference when making Shade Archive and Shade Archive+ is adding a Serenity Crystal for the + version. In order to earn the recipe, you must defeat Zexion's Absent Silhouette in the Cave of the Dead of the Underworld at Olympus Coliseum.
